A native of the northern lakes district of Italy in Lake Garda, Nino Pernetti is a brilliant restaurateur and a talented businessman. Two things stood central even to his earliest memories: good food and good people. His love of both kept him traveling to working in France, Afghanistan, South Korea, Malaysia, and Mexico, to fall in love at long last with Miami – a city he could call home.
Ferdie Pacheco, M.D., Muhammad Ali’s doctor and corner man for seventeen years, is renowned for his multifaceted career that has included sports commentary, writing, and painting, His wife, Luisita Sevilla Pacheco, is a noted flamenco artist, photographer, dance teacher, and writer.
